De Montfort UniversityEligibility: This scholarship is only available to Japanese, South Korean and Taiwanese domiciled students who have overseas student status and paying overseas tuition fee.
-Most full time Undergraduate Degrees (BA/BSc/LLB), masters courses (PGDip/MA/MSc/MBA/ LLM) and MPhil/PhD Research Degrees (except the International PhD Programme) are eligible for this scholarship with the exceptions.
-Distance learning and part time students are not eligible for this scholarship.
-No cash alternatives will be offered and the scholarship cannot be transferred to another recipient.
-Only self funding students are entitled to apply for this scholarship.

Description: De Montfort University is offering merit scholarship to five outstanding students from Japan, South Korea or Taiwan who have excelled academically. The value of scholarship is £3,500. DMU will deduct the value of the scholarship from the full academic course tuition fee at enrollment. The value of the scholarship will be deducted from the first, or only, year of study. If the student is also entitled to the £500 discount for early payment of their fees in full at enrollment, this discount will be added to the amount deducted.
