The sale of application forms for the Tamil Nadu engineering admissions 2015 by the Anna University has commenced in the district on Wednesday.
Students thronged the Anna University college campus here to collect the application forms on the first day of sale.
N. Shenbaga Vinayaga Moorthi, Dean, inaugurated the sale of forms. They waited in queues to collect the forms.
As many as 1, 233 application forms were sold out on the first day, sources said.
The forms were being issued at Anna University college campus in Tuticorin and at Barathi Memorial Women’s Polytechnic College, Ettayapuram.
While 815 forms had been sold out at the university college campus, 418 forms were sold at the polytechnic college in Ettayapuram.
In Tirunelveli district, 1,900 application forms had been sold.
G. Sakthinathan, Dean, Anna University, Tirunelveli, inaugurated the sale on its premises. Application forms were being issued at Anna University Regional Centre on the premises of Government Engineering College and also at Rani Anna Government Women’s College, Pettai.
Application forms would be issued from these locations until May 27, sources added.
