Turth and Fake

There is no denying that every one of us will face many lies and fake in our daily life. None likes being cheated or deceived indeed, needless to say living in a world full of fake.

The Truman Show is just about such a pitiful man, whose name is Truman satirically. He was the only true thing in his world. He behaved truthfully to all people around him. However, what he received, were just emotionless acts, which aimed at gaining a high audience rating.

From my viewpoint, fake can’t replace truth in any circumstances. Take Truman as an example, although the director created a so-called true world for him, he chosen the outside real world finally. Contrary to him, there’re a lot of people who live with fake. They sometimes lie to others spontaneously, even to themselves. And they accepts lies as well as fake in order to living a seeming happier life. In fact, the happiness connected with lies isn’t true happiness. What impressed me most in the world was Truman’s determination to flee the Seaheaven and hanker for truth. Nowadays, our society is witnessing more and more lies and fake, so we should never hesitate to seek for truth. And by this way a new world of less fake and more truth will be built soon!
