Children should not be forced by law to be educated by private schools or home schooling if their parents do not wish them to be.

Since the time immemorial, humans have developed only through knowledge acquired by education and its applications. A man becomes a man only through education. Therefore, education should be a must for every child.

For a man to thrive, there are certain basic conditions which need to be fulfilled- including air, water, food, etc. These conditions enable a man to live. Similarly there are certain conditions which are needed for a man to "develop"; this brings into picture fundamental elements, predominantly, education. Upbringing is one of the other factor for a human to develop, but it also falls under education and in a broader perspective one can call it home schooling- upbringing with education at home. Without education, there would be no difference between a man and an animal, especially in terms of action. A so called "Mowgli" could well live his life but he can develop and in turn live his life in a more appropriate and fuller way only through education. Education is the very essence of human life and should be a must by all perceptions.

Let us take an example of Ram, a boy who is very intelligent and talented. This boy has immense potential to offer a lot to his people, his country. Sadly, due to many devious reasons, he could not pursue education and this leaves him in a very poor position. Firstly he could not realise his potential; as he could have been a huge scholar or a doctor or an engineer or a soldier or a sportsman, etc. This would have enabled him to serve his country, his family and everybody else whom he should be serving. Therefore, education is the main ingredient for a man to convert his potential and live upto his calibre.

One may feel that parents should have the sole authority in deciding whether or not their children should go for education. This is so because, parents are the reason for the existence of the children. However, this idea is skewed as the idea of enforcing education for everybody is a global one and the result of such an action is to be bore by no just the parents but the whole society.

Therefore, there should be no second-thought over whether children should get education. Laws should be strictly enforced for education for every child. A society with educated individuals stands as an oasis in a desrt of uneducated individuals.
