Essay topics:

The above statement is kind of ambiguous, because, it can be true in both the ways. People with same views will be happy to discuss a topic, but for people whose views contradict, after the discussion the person might have completely and new prospective over the issue.

There are quite a lot of people around who share the same view about an issue. For example, if two people think that dancing is a very boring kind of pass time, they might not even try doing that. They will be happy that both of them think in the same way and presume that it is a boring activity. Likewise, having same prospective for an issue may sometimes hinder the chances of knowing more about it and sometimes it will be helpful in a way where people will start discussing and share ideas and may even come to a better result with the topic. Having same view about an issue deepens the discussion, explore more and have a better understanding. This will definitely lead to a better conclusion.

On the other hand, if two people have different opinions about an issue, then will have different ideas, different approach, and have options to choose. For example, if two people are discussing about a new software to develop, each person will have different approach and different perspective about the issue. for some person this might be ridiculous project and may think waste of time. But, for another person, this might look like a very important project, thinks the benefits of the project in different way and will try to convince the department. Here two persons have different views about the project. When both of them will sit and discuss about the project, both may learn from each other and may have a different perspective towards it. Having a healthy argument about an issue is always good, because this will lead to a better understanding and will different approaches towards an issue. During this time, everyone will surely learn something from others.

If talk about the reason given in the statement, when we are learning or talking or discussing about something, it is always good to have an open mind and an open heart. Because, in this world, it will be very difficult if we stop learning or get offended when someone contradicts our point of view. It is always good to have an argument and sometimes it is also good to share same point of view. Because, when a person's view contradicts our view then we will have a different view of approaching the issue and learn more about it, conversely, if there is person who share the same view then it makes us happy and this way also we learn lot of things about the issue.

Hence, having the same view or a different one will have the same effect on our learning process, provided how the opposite person takes it when his view contradicts with the other person.
