Decisions based on emotion are rarely the most optimum one
his is a debatable topic. Some people might be in against of this topic, but I don't find any convincing reasons to against this topic. I definitely agree with the speakers point of view.
Firstly decisions based on emotion are random they are not thoughtful. This decisions might be taken under some pressure or threat. Therefore they will not lead us to our desire goal. So because of such emotion based decisions if we are unsuccessful then it's not good thing to justify your failure with logic.
However some time people think that every time it's not necessary to take decision by using your brain and just listen to your heart and make your decision. but this is wrong not good for there future. For example consider a company X, who launch there first product in market and it was big hit. before launching that product they have been market survey and by making good strategy they launch there product and they good outcome. On the other hand other company Y making same product thought that company X is making good profit so we should launch the same product. Without doing market survey on the basis of assumption company launch there product and there revenues plummet. So it tells us that don't make your decisions on the basis of assumptions.
Although, in this competitive world Students are studying hard to get the best result and always be ahead than other students in the race to achieve there goals. But some time due to excessive pressure, hard luck or because of any reason some students fails to meet there parents expectations. And under emotional stress they take some stupid decisions like suicide. Although it's not the end of world they take those decision which are not justified either logically nor using anything. This is the poor decision taken by student which is based on emotions like what there parents will feel? Now there future is in dark? all this stupid thoughts make them weak and they take such poor decisions.
On the conclusion it's always good to make your decisions after thinking wisely. Because decisions based on emotion will favor you some time, but they will back fire you many of the times.
