The diagrams of Brightsea Coastal Zone show its change and development since 1950 until today and the future plan of the zone.
In 1950 was just a simple zone that had four objects in it. Those were Jetty, Fishermen’s cottages, Light House, and the light house keeper’s house. There was no main road that connected the zone with the outer zone.
Today’s Brightsea Coastal Zone is different to its prior existence. The present Brightsea has more objects in it. There are Ferry Wharf added, a hotel, a shop, and a café standing on the area. There are no longer Fishermen’s cottages and lighthouse keeper’s house on the zone. Moreover, the zone now has a road to connect it to the other objects.
The Brightsea Coastal Zone will be more complete in the future. The plan shows that the zone will have more facilities. Those facilities are: Telecommunications Area, Sailing Club, extension of the hotel, car park, supermarket, apartments, and a restaurant. The Ferry Wharf will be bigger in the future according to the plan. Even though there will be some changes on those three situations, the lighthouse is still survive in the zone.
In conclusion, the Brightsea Coastal Zone are developed from a simple zone to a more complex one. And it will attract more visitors and users in the future.
