An essay for the ielts test's task2: both sexes should enter universties?

Recent years have seen the increasing number of both sexes entering universties.some hold that every subject should enrol male and female students in equal numbers. However ,I beg to differ, in that not only both sexes have different physical situation but also their interest lie in different aspects.

Initially, male tend to be much stronger and powerful from the term of physical. Therefore ,in regard to their future jobs, male will be more likely to choose labour-demanding work than female. Take, for instance, the military subjects, some of which are really so demanding that won’t suit female. Of course, it will raise a troublesome problem for making both Sexes in the same number.

Secondly, their interest can’t be mixed together according to their different psychological traits. Usually, female have a more sentimental ,careful, dedicate mind than their counterpart. As a result, arts, accounting, business management are the most popular ones among them. While engineering, information technology, maths-the list seems unlimited, are the preference of male. As the saying goes,Interest I is the best teacher ,any attempt to force them to change is unwise..

Admittedly, they can get the advantages of complementary ,if both sexes study with each other in the identichial number.they can learn something from each other. However, the benefit is surely limited. actually ,they won’t lose the chances to discover and acquire new ways to study or deal with daily life from each other even if the number of theirs are totally different.

All in all , We should respect everyone’s own willingness of choosing subject. after weighing the cons and pros of this issue, we can safely say that making universities enroll identical number of both sexes in every subject is unnecessary and ridiculous.
