Forests are the lungs of the earth. Destruction of the world's forests amounts to death of the world we currently know.
To what extent do you agree or disagree.

Forests are not only the most important resources of human, but also the habitat of huge amount of plant and animal species on the earth. I totally agree that destroying these natural green resources will lead to dire consequences that people not be able to foreseen such as the climate change, natural disasters, or even extinction of human and most of the creatures on the earth.

Forests have many functions which are vital for human and animal species. Forests absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen via the photosynthesis of trees. Human and animal species can not live without oxygen. Our lungs absorb oxygen and generate carbon dioxide and forests work as natural air conditioners which make the earth's atmosphere become fresh. In addition, many daily activities of human such as transportation and manufactoring also emit millions tones of carbon dioxide every year. This kind of greenhouse gas contributes to the global warming and the climate change. Forests also are a critical part of water cycle which is main source of life.

Deforestation will lead us to doom. Destroying forests will destroy flora and fauna and stability of the earth. Natural disasters attack human more frequently. Droughts and floods make crops failure could result in widespread famine. And the most important is human and species will lack of oxygen to breathe. These problems are not in imagination but they could become reality if people continue destroying forests.

People destroy forest for many reasons. First, the booming of global population makes urbanization increasing. People destroy forest to have more areas for housing, manufactoring and agriculture. Moreover, industries need large amount woods everyday so exploiting excessively forests happens as a result. The regeneration does not keep up with the speed of destruction will lead to the complete disappearance of forests worldwide.

To summarise, we have seen how important forests for our lives. We must balance between exploitation and regeneration natural green resources towards our sustainable development and the ecological balance.
