The graph compares the number of library book read between boys and girls at Starmouth schools during four years, from 2009 to 2012.

It can be clearly seen that the number of girls who read sharply increase from 2010 to 2012 in different number, while the boys, the increasing happen was only in three years until 2011 on average 20 s.

In 2009, number of girls who liked to read stood at 25. It was slowly rose fifteen students in 2010. In the same year, the number of boys read book in library also increased, although the increasing is five students more than the girls. Furthermore, in 2011, the number of popular activity in reading between boy and girl students increased until hundred pupils. However, in 2012, the number of girl pupils always increased in every years and peaked at about 140 pupils, whereas the boys was went down dramatically at 80 pupils.

In short, the girls reading interest were consistently climbed during those three years, despite different number of increasing. Otherwise the boys, the number of their reading interest only increased in two years while in the last year was not. It might due that their pleasure on reading level were different.
