Essay topics:

the proportion of the population aged 65 and over between 1940 and 2040 in the different countries

The line chart describes about the percentage of the population aged 65 and over between 1940 and 2040 in Japan, Sweden, USA.

The proportion of population aged 65 and over increase by the latest data taken although in the running process it happens some trends changing in the amount of percentage.

The first country was USA as the highest percentage in the beginning year; however, the population decreased slightly in 1980 to 2015 around in the final year the population of elderly population in USA reached the peak to be 23% although it will be the lowest proportion. The second country is Sweden as the runner up since the first data taken up to the last. The percentage began at 7% and will finish at 26% whereas the decrease happened in 1980-1987 and in 2010-2015. The last line is the data from Japan where it started from the lowest percentage 5% but is predicted to finish at the highest percentage with 28%. The data is not by any means always rising; likewise, in the first 50 years it declined slightly reaching 3% , yet in the following years the population of aged 65 and over increase and it will be on the peak by the years 2040 (28%).

Taking into account from the explanation above it could be concluded that USA will be the lowest amount in the first year data taken will be the highest percentage. Whereas Sweden will always be the runner up. That is all what I can report.
