It has been always an interesting debate whether charity organizations should assist people of the country of their origin, however, some people support the idea that these types of bodies should help across the globe to whoever in extreme need. In my opinion, the financial assistance should be given to any needy people regardless of their geographic locations.
On one hand, charity organizations are bound to support local people of the country as a first priority. In fact, government mentions this clause in the legal agreement with these type of companies at the time of the necessary approvals. There are lot of advantages to state by doing so for example, the poverty rate will be alleviated by helping local poor public of the country. Secondly, people will be able to do any small business by receiving this financial assistance and lastly, crime rate will be controlled by engaging the needy citizens in some work.
On the flip side, there are some people who support the idea that the charity organization should support to any person whoever in extreme need despite of the nationality or citizenship. The first and foremost reason for this thought is that’s some undeveloped countries do not have these types of organizations to help their poor residents. This situation sometime give rise to a lot of issues like spreading of uncontrollable diseases, crime and corruption in that region and which are further propagated to other nearby countries and thus affecting whole world like slow poison.
In conclusion, aim of charity organization should be to minimize poverty and enabling the common people to contribute their part in secure, stable and healthy environment around the world.
