When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

It is true that some people think that to try develop traditional skills is useless if a state develop its own technologies. When I accept that this statement probably suit for some people, I am sure that even a country boosting its technology, other still can use and keep traditional ability.

Technology, change human life in many sides and parts that some say as the sign of the end of traditional skills. It is inventions and other new things that make people’s life easier. Even though, these new technologies affect people in society to prefer the new one and usually forgot old ways. Some people argue that this will create modern society which is better than the old one. Photocopy machine, for example, at the time, invention of this machine became the point when society change. Publishers did not have to rewrite the books to sell it with high prices. Nowadays, no one rewrite a book to make copy of it, but people use machine to do this. Especially in the government who always need machine than human skills to do things faster.

Some people think that traditional way have to be conserved. They say that traditional ability is better than use recent technology. It is approved by many best professionals around the world such as fashion designers who always get order and high payment for their hard work. There are many kinds of cloths which is good and expensive in the store, even so, rich people who prefer beauty and uniqueness choose to go to fashion designers directly. Another example is writing skills, even some workers always use computers or typewriter to do their jobs, writing skill always needed. Essentially, traditional skills are needed.

In summary, there are some arguments which support that it is pointless to develop traditional ability, when the other side support for keeping it alive. I do believe that it never worthless to try to make traditional skills alive.
