The three pie charts below show the changes in annual spending by a particular UK school in 1981 1991 and 2001 Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant

The given pie charts depict how much money spent on schooling in three specific years in a particular school in UK.

In general, the biggest amount of money spent belonged to teachers’ salaries in three periods of time, the opposite was true for insurance which accounted for the least figure among surveyed categories.

In 1981, the money paid for teachers held 40% in regard with the total, following an increase to reach 50% in 1991. This figure then made a slight drop of 5% in the last year of the survey. A minimal rise was witnessed in insurance with the first data being at merely 2% and the third figure observed being at 8% in 2001.

Furniture and equipment was clearly seen in both decrease first and then increase. This spending in 1991 was only one third as much as it was in 1981. However, the figure then made a considerable growth and caught 23% in 2001. Besides, resources e.g. books and other workers’ salaries were similar in tendency of being downward to finish with 9% and 15% respectively although there was a small increase happened in salaries for other workers in 1991.
