Dear Sir,
I have just received your invitation letter to join Nestle. I really appreciate that you considered me a suitable candidate for the post of 'Executive Mechanical Engineer'. But with all due respect, I would like to inform you to kindly change the date of my joining from this week to the next week as I had a contract with my current employer and it will be finishing by the end of this week.
Furthermore, I have registered my self for a 4 days short course in evening. I would be busy attending the classes as well. So it would really facilitate me to give my joining after 1 week. As i won't be having much burden in those days and I will be giving my 100% efficiency to this new duty.
I would be really grateful to you if you would pay heed to my request. Again thanking you for giving me the opportunity to work for such a great Multi-national company.
