The line graph shows the information about figures of birth rates in China and the USA from 1920 to 2000.
Overall, birth rates of both countries decreased gradually in the period of 80 years. Those figures of America was slightly higher than that of China.
Between 1920 and 2000, birth rates in America were fluctuated around 10% to 13%. However from 1940 to 1945, this porpotion sharply declined to under 5%. The year of 1950 saw the significant increase of birth rate of America which was exactly 15%. After that, this number tended to slowly fell to approximately 7% in the year 2000.
Birth rates of China shared the same trend with the line of America. In the period of 15 years from 1920 to 1935, these figures were varied more significantly than that of America. In 1940, it fell sharply to 5%. In 1950, the birth rate reached to it highest point in the whole line which was 20%. Through the remainder of time, these porpotions continuosly decreased to approximately 3% by the year 2000.
