The given graph gives information about the approximate costs of housing (both on market and already sold) in Sometown during the second half of 2005. The units are measured in thousands dollars.

Overall, the average price of houses on market were considerably higher in contrary to the sold houses. In July, the costs of on market houses reached a peak, while in September dropped to its bottom. The sold dwellings increased to its highest point in the end of the year however, the lowest drop plateaued throughout September and October.

The most expensive houses were on market in July (it cost well over 330 thousands dollars) and thereafter dropped significantly to the bottom of just below $320 000 in September. At this point, there was a moderate increase in October but during the rest of 2005, the costs declined to just above 320 thousands dollars in December.

On the other hand, prices of sold accommodations were substantially lower, starting in July with exactly $300 000 and then slightly increased during August to approximately 304 thousands dollars. In the following month, the costs were the lowest of all (exactly $290 000) and furthermore remained steady during October. In the penultimate month there occured a sharp increase to well over 300 thousands, while in the last month the prices climbed even higher to just below 310 thousands dollars.
