Overall, water heating consume the highest of proportions of total energy usages and greenhouse gas emission in Australia.

In more details, Australian use the most energy for water heating with under a half while heating and cooling systems require 20% energy. Refrigeration follow closely with only 7%. In contrast, cooling and lighting only make up a mere 2% and 4% respectively. In terms of use energy for other appliances account for 15% of total.

Similarly, a third of greenhouse gas is emitted by water heating. ㄘGreenhouse gas is emmited by heating and refrigeration come next with 15% and 14% respectively. Meanwhile, just under 10% of total greenhouse gas released by cooing and lighting. Finally, greenhouse gas is require by other appliances with just under a third of total emission.

In conclusion, it is clearly to note that water heating consume most of energy and emit the most greenhouse gas in six households in Australia.
