The provided bar graph depicts the information about how the percentage of the total world population in India, China , Japan, and The USA varied in the years 1950 and 2002. However, the future prediction for the year 2050 is given as well.

Overall, China consists the major share of the total world population while Japan's share is at the least. However, in future it is predicted that India will surpass China and will have the highest percentage.

Now turning to the details, In 1950, 15 % of the world's total population was from India while China was leading the table with more than 20 % share, after 12 years in 2002, Chinese population share fell off and reached 20% whereas India observed an upward trend. According to the future prediction, India's contribution in the world's total population will be the most by the year 2050 with nearly 20% and Chinese population will decline to 15%.

In contrast to India and China, The USA and Japan have vey less amount of share in total number of humans living on the planet. In 1950, the share of The USA was just more than 5% while Japan's share was below 5 %. After 1950, a downward trend is observed in Japanese and American population. In future, USA's population is expected to be identical while there is decline in Japan's population.
