Some people learn by reading about things. Others learn by doing things. Which of these methods of learning is better for you?

Learning any field of study has some requirements such as studying and experiencing. Although to figure out anything we should know the relating basic information, we would rather do some experimental practices to learn it more effectively. The following essay deals with the reasons that support this point of view.

Obviously, reading and studying about a subject would be a necessary and primary step in understanding it. One reason is that in many cases without the fundamental knowledge or understanding about something we are not able to even imagine what it is. For example, a child can not begin to solve mathematics problems such as multiplying two numbers before he is taught about the theory of numbers. Another reason is that, reading and thinking about the subjects can strengthen your power of analyzing and gaining appropriate results. Since, making a lot of efforts to understand a specific reading and to draw conclusions would be beneficial for your potential comprehension.

However, pragmatic experiences are highly important to achieve a comprehensive understanding of something. First, it provides the opportunity to feel that subject in real world as a more sensible fact. Since, you observe the causes and effects of a fact practically. Second, some theories in science require to be proven through several tests and examination. And therefore, practicing that ideology and studying the results would be essential. Finally, conducting empirical exercises will contribute to acquiring new skills and abilities. Consequently, these valuable experiences would definitely influence the depth of learning more efficiently.

In conclusion, besides the key role of reading and knowing about the required information of a subject, the importance of doing some practical trails and obtaining real understanding by means of experiments should not be disregarded.
