Essay topics:

Recently, there has been a debate about the fine structure which had been found surrounding the skeleton of sinosauropterys, a group of scientists, a professor as well, suggest these lines are feathers, while another group which represented by the author refutes this idea and gives many critics points.

First of all, the professor argues the reading passage assertion, about the possibility of the formation of the lines after the dinosaur death, he thinks it is unlikely to be believable, because other animals functional structure had been well preserved by volcanic ash, besides that, there is no sign of decomposition on any animal fossil, as well as, other animals, the dinosaur fossil suppose to be kept in the same excellent way.
Second, the professor contends that there is a chemical difference between the feather and the frill, the feathers contain a beta carotin protein, while the frills do not include this kind of protein. So, by this point, the professor makes a grave doubt about the author idea that the presence of this lines is because of frill, not feather.
Finally, the professor claims that the feather may not use for flying or keeping the body temperature high, as the reading passage assumes, it may have other jobs, for example of a kind of bird use his tail's feather in displaying activities, in addition, some approach suggest that the dinosaur feather was colorful, it were orange and white , that support the idea of using them in attacking mate. By this argument, the reading passage point, about the unusefulness of this feather, being practically untrue.
In sum, the professor explains why he doesn't trust any of the author critics and, indeed, gives a convenience argument to each critic.
