TPO-32 - Integrated Writing Task Starting in the 1960s and continuing until the 1980s, sailors in Russian submarines patrolling the North Alantic and Arctic Ocean would occasionally hear strange sounds. These underwater noises reminded the submarine crews

The passage and lecture both discuss the source of the weird sounds that were heard by employees in Russian submarines protecting North Atlantic and Arctic Ocean. The passage points out three main possibilities for these sounds. In contrast, the professor explains that she is not sure about the source of this marvelous phenomenal and she refutes each author's reasons.

First, the reading posits that Orca whales could be the source of these sounds. However, the lecturer denies this by explaining that although this theory seems to be true, it is unlikely that these sounds were produced by Orca whales. While Orca whales live near the surface, submarines move in deep water, and as a consequence sailors could not hear the whales' sounds. Moreover, if there was any whale near the submarines, they could be detected by sonar system.

Second, the article claims that very big squid could be the source of aforementioned sounds. In contrast, the lecture indicates that the sound started in the 1960s and reported for two decades, but the enormous squid are living there for all time. In other words, there is not any reason for sounds to hear and stop suddenly.

Last, the passage puts out that another secretary submarines could cause these sounds. On the other hand, the speaker states that the sound can move and change direction very fast, while submarines cannot move so quickly. Besides, all submarines make engine noise. But this noise is different from quackers sounds. According to the lecturer, even today, we do not have a submarine that move too fast with a soundless engine.

Thanks!

Why 23 in 30??? I indicate all main point of listening.

What is the main problem of my essay???

If I correct all garmmatical mistakes can I get score 30?

I mean what I need to do to increase my score to 30??

In actual TOEFL exam, the mark or score is compared to other users. It is not a absolute mark. For example, if all test takers are good students, then the marks they get in this year may be same to other test takers in last year who are not good students.

while in testbig, even you do all grammar/ideas correctly, it doesn't mean you can get 30 out of 30. The score is compared to best students/users too. So even though you may get only 26/27 in testbig, possibly you still can reach 30 out of 30 in a actual exam.

If you can get 26/27 in testbig, it means you don't need to do anything except sending more essays to check out whether you can keep 26/27 all the time.

Well, if you still think I need 30 out of 30, this will take a long time, instead, we would suggest you put the time on something else like listening or reading, your weaker section.
