Firstly, the reading passage claim that humpback whales have very high level of intelligence that is determiner by it's high degree of complexity. whales have cognitive ability and sensory level are high. However, the lecture argued that there have no evidence to support whales have that level of intelligence. some other animal like duck have that power but that don't determined there brain are highly developed.
Secondly, the reading posits that whales are migrated in straight line. they can travel comfortably in the ocean they can't depends on land mark of land feature. However, the professor say that earth magnetic force work on that case. whales brain have a small bio magnetic force that send signal and arrange that data.
finally, the reading argue that spy- hopping only unusual behavior of whales to observe the star . But the listening dispute this point by saying that some animal have that level of spy- hopping ability like shark and whales have spy- hopping in the day time where all star are not visible.
