In the reading passage, the author calims that thre are three viable explanations for the advantages of applying salvage logging, as a practive in which the dead trees have been conveyed from the areas od forest affected by fire. However, finding all the ideas implausible and questionable, the professor casts doubt on what is presented in text and states that regardless of its seeming() benefits as a method for recovering the forest, this approach casues long-term environmental damages and even its economic benefits are not realistic.
At first, the author argues that falling the dead trees on the bottom of the forest left no space for growing the new plant accoring to this issue that it takes considerable time that trees get decomposed through natural process. Finally, the author asserts that industries can take benefits of dead trees to augment() their productivity and decline the unemployement rate.
