Dear Testbig,

I am facing problems with RC. I am making lot of misteakes in RC. I have offical book for TOEFL and I scoring preety well in listening and Grammer(old version), approx 90%, but in RC I am scoring only 65%.

Can u suggest me some strategy.

hello, Prithiv,

To improve your reading, first of all, you need to memorize more words. don't try to "guess" in TOEFL test, because you are not sure 100% correct. you can check out the the TOEFL reading words in our site and you need to be very familiar with the words.

secnond, you need to figure out the "structure " of a sentence, for example, where is subject, verb, or clause. then you can understand the sentence good.

if you have a good words and can easily check out the sentence, then you need to have a good reading habit.

one thing is very important is that after you read the question, you need to go back the passage and "locate the answer in a specific sentence exactly,don't try to infer something new or by your "memory" of the passage." . when you think one answer is correct, you need to double check why other answers are not correct. don't make a fast choice.
