College or university usually have policy which should be complied by students. The policy include course requirement, administration form, requirement for community, rules of graduation and so on. Especially in graduation form, the students who will graduate must take a minimum credits for physical education. It should be fulfilled because if it are not, the students cannot graduate on time. Thus, I support the announcement that one requirement for graduation is completing minimum credits.
Minimum number of credits are create for standardization. It seems like formalization, but actually the aim for this policy is similarity. For all student should prepare a minimum credit for education physical so every student has the same chance to do it. There is no differentiation among others. If college decided to take at least 12 credits for physical education, then students should take it as minimum point. Because sometime students always take the credit as many as they want, hence it needs standardization.
Minimum number of credits also measure student's skill. If there is no minimum standard, then the lack of students's skill is happened. One student has good performance for physical education. Others has bad performance because they are not take that subject. To conclude, they have the same skill when they are compete in the real of work.
Furthermore, minimum credits become basic to continuous improvement for college. For instance, if college select 12 credits as a minimum requirement, so it works or not for student after graduate? If it is not, they evaluate it to make better decision. In contrast, they continue the minimum score a and achieve as requirement of graduation.
In conclusion, it is necessary for college to decide standardization for minimum number of physical education. Hence, no more lack of skill which happened among students and also college can improve their performance.
