Do you agree or disagree with the following statement:Movies and televisions should always show audience good people are being rewarded and bad people are being punished?

As we can see, the medium always widespread the value that good individual are being rewarded and bad individual are being punished? With our citical thinking, we can judge whether it's wise or not. As for me, the answer is definitely "no".

Before my discussion, It's fundamental for me to clarify what the truth is. As the saying goes, "Anything is possible". Only a small fraction of people are acclaimed for goodness and punished for evil. Under this hypothesis, I've illustated my viewpoint as follows.

For one thing, people will possiblely sink into depression if they found out not been praised after devoting to the weak. Considering what the TV shows, there's no doubt that the audience believe they will gain reputation from their efforts to others. They prefer to set Leifeng or Huangjiguang who contribute their life to our country as our model. Unfortunately, as I've stated above, most of the kind people are ignored in the reality. One day, they are surprised to demonstrate their belief are not right, thus they loose confidence of the world even forbid to give a hand to the victim from then on. For instance, one of my neighbors, a young boy, who helped an blind woman pass through the street, occasionally, they happened to come across her relatives who didn't express any thanks or prise even regard him as a bad person. After that, he didn't aid initiatively any more.

For another, It's feasible to misslead the audience that people who ever crime are totally a rubbish. There's no abousolute good or bad. Making one mistake doesn't means live without any shining points. Suppose that we've viewd someone be explored copy in the test, we will categorize this guy as bad man without take his advantages into account. As is known to all, the main character in the movie les misarables be punished because he has stealed a piece of bread. Owing to this crime mark on his ID card, he can't get a job, nobody believes him after aware of this fact. Nevertheless, he was a geniune great man, who stealed the bread to save his cousin's life and spare no effort to raise a woman's daughter.Although It's the ID card but not the movies or televisions, actually they are the same in affect people's estimation.

To generize, not only the award of goodness but also the punishment of committing can misguide the audience to a wrong comprehension of the true world.
