Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

It is more important for students to understand ideas and concepts than it is for them to learn facts.

Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

There are different ways that a student can learn on classes, but the professors should use the one that are better and productive for them. I believe that learning facts will be more useful for the students. I think this way for two reasons which I will explore in the following essay.
First of all, within the past of the years schools used to use different methods of learning that today are obsolete. They taught subjects such as chemistry and physic without showing the results of what they wanted to explain. Was really difficult for students to understand the experiments and most of the time they did not learn what the professor explained to them on classes. My personal experience is compelling of this. About ten years ago, when I was studying Dental Occlusion on Rutgers University of Dental Medicine in New Jersey, the professor tried to teach us the definition of different mandibular movement and how they were classified. That they we did not understand in theory of what movement the professor was talking about and always came to my mind how I was supposed to learn them. Today I thanks to the new methods of learning that I use with my students I knew what was the ideas and concepts that the professor was trying to teach us.
Second, there are new techniques that are useful to make the students learn fast. Facts are important because through them we can demonstrate to the students the reality. Sometimes students do not believe that the professor is talking in classes, and they do not feel motivated because the theme is bored. Instead, if you bring their attention with facts they will be attracted with the new method of explanation. For example, my son is ten years old, he likes math but understand better the subject when I explain to him with facts than when I tell him the theory by heart. As a result, I realize that the best way to gain the attention to the students is through facts.
In conclusion, for all that I mention above I strongly consider that learn facts make the students to do it faster and better

We are expecting: No. of Words: 350 while No. of Different Words: 200
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
