Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) July 31, 2014

Fall sessions for Rose State College's English As a Second Language workshop at its campus in Oklahoma City begin Monday, August 25th.

The goal is to help students at Rose who are non-native speakers of English be successful in their course work. However, the college will also welcome high school students preparing for future college admission, as well as other members of the greater Oklahoma City community who simply wish to improve their English language skills.

Students can choose to focus on instruction among the areas of Verb Tense Use, Article Use, Vocabulary, Idioms, Reading, Pronunciation, Advanced Grammar, Listening, Diction, Academic Writing Conventions, or TOEFL preparation.

Students may attend just one or as many sessions in a week as they wish. Meeting times will be Monday and Wednesday evenings from 4-5:30 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

For more information and for specific meeting times, go to the website, or contact Angela Keneda, Professor of Developmental Reading at 405- 733-7509 or akeneda(at)rose(dot)edu
