Study abroad is an ideal choice for students in all countries, especially in developing countries. Parents spend a fortune on paying for subsistence fees and programme costs; students have a tendency to apply for scholarships offered by renowned schools. But it's still a debatable concern that whether study-abroad is a conscious choice for high school or university students.
First of all, it is believed that study-abroad is a desire for a high-quality education environment. It is no doubted that students toward to developed country to gain a better education, a better knowledge and a better chance to life . This is clearly illustrated the fact that the number of international students in the USA - a typical developed area-surpassed one million for the third consecutive years, according to 2018 Open Door Report. Apart from USA, there are countries with high schooling system such as the UK, Denmark, Finland,etc. which attract million of international per year.
What is more, one of the main reason for studying overseas is that student could learn new language while living in another country. Using second language fluently could enhance student's ability, which upgrade their CV for future job's application.That is to say, studying in foreign countries generates a condition for language learners.
However, opponents of abroad studying argued that students might find it apprehensive to accustom since racial discrimination literally exists in most countries. As a consequence, students in high school or university who aren't matured enough to endure the offensive judgement from local people will be vulnerable under prejudicial pressure. They miserably get on with society;therefore; it could cause stress, embarrassment or even depression to these pupils.
There is no absolute answer to the question of whether it's essential to study abroad. On one hand, study abroad offers a professional training.On the other hand, students might cope with quantities of vulnerable such experience as racial discrimination, language barrier, culture shock,etc..
