Our friends Z and R took their IELTS tests in the UK and Azerbaijan and remembered the following details (the exam appears to be the same in these countries):

Reading test

Passage 1. About plants.

Passage 2. About a company car scheme.

Passage 3. How to deal with stress in the workplace.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a map and 4 pie charts showing the use of agricultural land in the USA for different purposes such as animal growing, forests, crops growing and other uses. We had to describe it.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Some people believe that history is very important and we must study the past to understand the present. Others say that it has little or no use at all. Discuss both views, give your opinion and support it with relevant examples.
