The graph and table below show the average monthly temperatures and the average number of hours of sunshine per year in three major cities.

The given chart illustrates the average temperatures in each month of the year and the table presents the total sunshine hours in three big cities: London, New York, and Sydney.
Overall, there are distinct trends in all figures.

As can be seen from the graph, London and New York witnessed a strong increase from the beginning of the year to July in the escalation of the temperatures, with respective beings just under 30 and approximately 24. In contrast, the average number falls dramatically by 10 to a trough of 16 in Sydney during the first 7 months period.

Moving on to the rest of the year, there is a quick decline in the number of this measurement in London and New York. When London experiences a decrease at under 10, New York goes through a fall by 25, from 30 to 5; meanwhile, there is a sharp climb to 25 in December’s average temperatures in Sydney.

Although New York contains a large number of months having low temperatures it has the highest amount of sunshine hours well over 2500. These figures of Sydney and London are lower than New York, with respective being nearly 2500 and approximately 1200.
