The bar chart depicts the amount of males and females in Australia from different ages that exercised regularly in 2010. Overall, it is clear than in most age groups, women did more regular physical activities than men, except for age group of 15-24.
Compared to other age groups, men with age of 15 to 24 exercised the most, at 52.8%. However, the number declined for age group of 25 to 34, where only 42.2% of them did regular physical activity. Furthermore, the percentage reached its lowest for age 35 to 44, at only 39.5%. For the next three groups, age group 45 to 54, 55 to 64, and 65 and over, there was a rose, at approximately 43% to 46%.
Women started at 47.7% for age group of 15 to 24. The number then increased to 48.9% for age group of 25 to 34. It then increased again to 52.2% for females at age of 35 to 44. Furthermore, the females at age 45 to 54 were the most women that exercised regularly, compared to other age groups, at 53.3%. However, there were decrease for the next two age groups, 55 to 64 and 65 and over, at 53% and 47.1%.
