The supplied bar chart describes the percentage of the Canadian population that uses a different number of social-network in the years 2014 and 2015. At first glance, we can see that the majority of Canadian use only one site. Moreover, the number of social networks taken into consideration the fewer people had a subscription.

If we consider only the 2014 year, almost a quarter of the population is not using any social site, while the highest percentage has only one subscription. Then, the rate, as a function of the number of sites, steadily decreases, passing from 27 % of people using two sites to 12% using three sites. Finally, only a tiny fraction of Canadians have chosen to frequent more than four sites.

The overall trend of the 2015 bar chart is similar to 2014. However, the number of people not interested in social networks slightly declined to 21%, while the Canadian that are subscribed to precisely one site dramatically fall of 8 percentage points. As a result, the rate of people using more than one site rose. For instance, people using subscribed to two social have a modest increase of one point percentage. On the contrary, the number of people using three, four, or five sites had a considerable uplift, since the rate of people went up respectively to 16, 8, and 4 percent.

To conclude, the overall trend did not change significantly between the two years. Nevertheless, the number of people subscribed to a few sites decreased, while a moderate increase can be seen in the case of people subscribed to a higher number of subscriptions.
