Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

The following chart depicts how much money was spent on fast foods by Britain people per week, with the graph illustrating trends to do with fast food consumption.
As can be clearly observed from the chart, three types of fast food, including hamburgers, fish and chips, and pizza were surveyed. Around 45 pence per person was spent by high incomers to buy hamburgers. Followed by nearly 35 pence of average incomers and less than 15 pence of people who have low income. While high income individuals spent approximately the same amount of money on fish and chips and pizza, which is around 17 pence in a week, the average income people spent far much money on fish and chips (25 pence), rather than 10 pence of pizza. The story of low-income people was completely different. They bought more fish and chips, nearly 20 pence per week, in comparison with about 12 pence on pizza.
Turning to the graph, there were two distinct trends: upward and downward. Hamburger consumption experienced a dramatic rise from less than 100 grammes in 1970 to more than 500 grammes in 1990. The same pattern was observable in pizza. It went up from 50 to about 300 grammes during 1970 till 1990. However, fish and chips consumption declined from more than 300 grammes to 200 grammes between 1970 and 1985, whereas a slight increase was observable during next five years.
Overall, it is clear from the charts that, low-income earners spent far less money to purchase fast foods in comparison with high incomers, while the trends of fast-food consumption were upward in all three types of fast foods at the end of surveying period, albeit one group witnessed a significant fall at first.
