The chart below shows how the UK unemployed spent their time in the year 1982

The table chart provides and information about activities of unemployed people in the UK during their day in 1982.
It is noticeable that about 49% and 21% of women spend their time during house work in the morning or in the afternoon respectively. To compare with men who like more shopping or job hunting in the morning. Moreover, men prefered gardening both in the morning and afternoon and were 14% And 13% in comparison with women whose rates were 2% and 3% respectively to the part of the day. The greatest difference between time spending in the morning or afternoon was a registered in watching TV. It is interesting, that either men or women did not watch TV in the morning, but afternoon about 14% of men and 12% of women were attracted by TV channels. In addition, women rarely drunk or played sports during both parts of the day, while much the same amount of men were self consumed during the morning or afternoon. It is also needs to describe, that afternoon women were influenced by doing nothing twice more than morning women, whereas afternoon men yelded to sorrow three times more than morning men. However, about 8% of men and the same amount of women enjoyed staying in bed in the morning in comparison with afternoon time when only 1% of men and 0% of women did it.
In conclusion, the most preferrable occupation for unemployed men was job hunting in the morning and watching TV or gardening afternoon, while for women the most popular were housework or shopping.
