The line graphs illustrate, the comparison of police officials and criminals in two cities (city A and city B) in the year of 2005 and expected ratio on 2025.
Overall, it is clear from the chart that, the highest and increasing number of police officers was in city A. While, in city B, the account of criminals was at the top over the period given.
As is observed in the graph, in 2005, the total number of police officers in city A was about 25,000, which is lower than city B (30,000). While, there was a significant growth in the police officers number in city A, and reached to 35,000 by 2010. Whereas, after five years, the number was gradually decreased to just over 30,000 and the ratio was dramatically increased to 45,000 by 2015. Then there would be a slight decline to 40,000 by 2025. Meanwhile, in city B, there was a moderate reduction in the number of police officers and in 2007 the ratio was lower than city A. Then the account was remained relatively stable up to the end of the period with less than 25,000.
Regarding criminals record, the number of criminals in city B was the highest position compared to city A over the given period. Such as, in 2005, approximately 0.9 million criminals are recorded in city B, whereas, in city A the trend was just below 0.8 million. Both city has some fluctuation in trend, criminal ratio makes up in city A by 2020 with 1.2 million, in turn in city B the ratio was noticeably tumbled to 0.6 million. However, the expected ratio of criminals in 2025 on city A and city B was about 1.1 million and near 0.7 million respectively.
