The table provided the statics of subway systems in six cities about the start date, route's length and annual passengers.
Overall, the underground railway systems of los angeles was by far the newest in 2001 while london's subway ground was the oldest since 19th century. Moreover, the railway systems of Paris, tokyo, washington dc and kyoto was opened in a similar century.
However, london comprised the longest router which accounted for 394 kilometers. It was followed by Paris's and tokyo's routers which recorded for 199 km and 155 km respectively. In contrast, The shortest router was settled in kyoto approximately 11 kilometres.
On the other hand, the number of subway passengers topped the statics with 1927 million users as nearly two times as Paris's passengers. In comparison, los angeles and kyoto had a resemblance on quantity of people who use this transport which was 45 and 50 millions respectively. In addition, washington dc's underground railway systems had nearly threefold of passengers as two above-mentioned cities.
