Write a letter to your friend telling him her that you have won a photography competition In your letter Describe the event Describe the photograph you have sent for the competition Invite him her to the exhibition where your photograph is presented

Hi Sara,

Hope this letter finds you in good health and in high spirits. I am writing to you to let you know that I have won a photography competition. It feels really excited to have participated and won among 400 entries across the globe. As you may know, I was one of the final participant in the international painting competition happened in Paris last week.

The event occurred in an affluent way with participants from all parts of the world. Since it is an international competition, different kinds of cuisines were served to the participants. There were other fascinating programmes such as dancing, singing and magic shows to engage the participants. The event was organized for two days in a 5-star hotel and there were five judges to examine the painting. At the end of the second day, I was announced as a winner. I was awe-struck to hear my name and tears rolled out on hearing my name in the winning list.

I would like to explain about my entry which was the precursor to my success. I took the theme of “Child Abuse” and painted a child photo in oil. I covered different phases a child which she has been abused. The painting came out very well and certainly, it avenues my victory. I will share the photo with you, however, it would be great if you could visit “Sir. Lucis Museum” at Chicago where this painting has been kept for visitor’s display. Hope to hear from you soon.

Yours’ faithfully,
Chitra
