You had arranged to meet a friend next week but you have realized that you will not be able to go Write a letter to your friend In your letter Cancel the meeting with your friend and opologize explain why you will not be able to meet your friend suggest w

Dear Daniel,

A letter from me has never been something that you have liked because, as you say, it is a sign of negativity. I have long tried to send a positive message but has rarely worked out till now.

As you know, I have been working with a US based conglomerate and it has kept my schedule unpredictable. Due to the said reasons, I will have to cancel our meeting that was promised for next week on Tuesday and beg for your forgiveness. I will make it up to you, I promise.

The company had written to me for intimating that I will be going to an offshore assignment on Saturday. The project has hit a glitch at the last moment and has to be completed by Monday morning. I have a feeling that I will not be able to make it back on time and as such do not want to keep you hanging.

As you know, Samantha’s birthday party is scheduled for last Saturday of the month and we anyway have to catch up before the said date for deciding a gift, I will not bail out on you for that and we will meet at the Glenwood Mall on last Friday of the month. Later we can grab lunch or something.

I know you must be dejected and annoyed with me, but life has not been kind to me, please forgive me.

I can’t wait to meet you.

Yours lovingly,
Brad Jason
