Write a letter to the community college. In your letter:
• say which advertisement you are answering
• describe which course(s) you want to teach, and what it/they would be about
• explain why you would be a suitable teacher

Dear Mohan,

I am writing this letter in reference to the advertisement for an English language tutor required in the community college for night classes and I saw this advertisement in the Sunday magazine.

I would like to teach English grammar required in writing section, and this will include punctuations, spelling checks, use of an article, collocations, different forms of writing including informal, formal, semiformal and many more other subsections will be covered.

My qualifications are Masters of Arts in English language with 12 years of regular experience in high school teaching. In addition to that, I have supported number of writers in checking their novels in proof reading. And, I will be available in night shift timings as I am not working anywhere these days, so it will help me to save some money also. The location of college is also near to my hometown, thus travelling will be easy for me.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully
Vishal Bhat
