Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Chitra who is residing in this locality for past three decades. I am writing to express my disappointment after knowing that the local council has planned to close “City Sports and Leisure Centre” by this month end. I would like to bring up few information on how this center was useful to us in many ways. First of all, my friends and I, leverage this center for most of our leisure activities like indoor games, conducting meetings and addressing a larger audience. Moreover, the center was majorly used to socialize with people as it was situated at the heart of the city. My marriage happened in this center which is why I am personally bonded to this centre

Also, this center was self sufficient to accomodate approximately 500 people because of which we were able to conduct functions and celebrate together. Besides that we often arrange for guest lectures on Teacher's day, Mother's day, Republic day and Independence day and conduct competitions that is suitable for all age groups. Which is why, we feel having this center is vital for our local community.

On closing this sports and leisure center, most of the socializing activities will be hindered and we will not be able to mingle as before. Also, none of the leaders would be able to address the public once this center is closed. Kindly consider keeping this center open for the public as we will be greatly affected if the center is closed permanently.

Yours sincerely,
Chitra
