The article suggests that since there are no teeth marks, the mammal certainly could not have eaten the dinosaour alive. It may only have eaten its eggs as a scavenger. But in the lecture, there is again an explanation to support that this statement does not necessarily have to be valid. In the lecture, it is being claimed that the mammal R. Robustus has strong jaws to grab and hold its prey, so that it does not have to chew it with its teeth. The mammal just swallows the whole prey or eats it in big pieces so that it leaves no teeth marks.
