The listening section was a lecture by a professor not agreeing with solutions mentioned by the author.

According to the reading passage, first way is to use a fence to prevent cane toad to get into places they have not still been to. Fence has been used for another kinds of animals to prevent it getting dispensed. The second choice is catching toads by volunteers. Capturing toads is not that hard. Traps could be used for this purpose. Young toads and eggs are also easier to destroy because they only live in water. Third solution would be designing a virus to control cane toad population. A virus that just has effect on the wanted species not the native ones.

According to the lecture, the professor indicate some points that show the low chance of success for the solutions mentioned earlier in the passage. Prime the toads are not that easy to catch. Fence cannot be used because they can pass by the river wherever the fence is used. Using virus would have terrible consequences at their original habitat when some of this ill ones immigrate to their first habitat. It would have a bad influence because they're a specie of the environment and should not be destroyed.

Overall we read solutions to destroy and move the toads out of Australia that Professor in the lecture doesn't agree on the effectiveness of it.
