She says excluding Pluto from the solar system started a big conflict among scientists which was called Pluto war. Furthermore, she argues that voting was based on ten percent of all astronomical union members because five hundred astronomers presented from ten thousand astronomers.

The article notes that later discovered the size of Pluto was smaller than the earth’s moon and other moons. The lecturer rebuts this argument. She suggests that many scientists believed that if an object clears its orbit then it is a planet. she elaborates on this by mentioning that Earth, Mars, Neptune, and Jupiter have asteroids as neighbors, so they can not clear their orbit but they are a planet.
Finally, the author states that reclassifying Pluto honors the fact IUC's decision "science is self-correcting”. The article establishes that new children wouldn't know that Pluto was one of the solar systems. The lecturer, on the other hand, posits that IUC's decision disappointed many people. She puts forth the idea that children wouldn't forget about Pluto because thirteen of the march was nominated Pluto’s day.
