The reading discussion is about the finding of the remnant of the animals' actual tissues which live about 70-million- years ago, and it represets three reasons. However, the professor reject all of the reasons because they are not sure about them
First, the passage tells that the exitence of many small branching channels inside the bone can be the explanation for the hollow inside the bones where the blood vessels were once located. Also, they found a soft, flexible organic materials inside the channel which can be the remnant of the actual blood vessels. However, the lecturer decline this claim, becuase after the organism died, the bacteria located in the hollows inside the bones. So, this soft materials can be the trace of the bacterias colonies inside the bones.
Second, the text provide an evidence of the existance of the sphere that could be the leftover of the red blood cells. In fact, the spehere contain of the iron which is a crucial material in transporting the oxygen to tissue. Nevertheless, the professor does not accept this reason, becuase they found the sphere inside the others bones fossils of animals which had not a red blood vesesels. So, the sphere can be the reddish materials not more.
Finally, the reading passage indicate that the dinosaur's leg bone consist of the collagen. The collagen is a fibrous protein which is a chief component of living bone tissue, in which it forms a so-called collagen matrix. Whereas, in the listening section this claim is rejected. Until now, the collogen just find in the animals body who live in 100,000 years ago, not more. So, it is not reasonable that the collogen that have found in the animals body who died about 70 million yers ago be the remains of the blood cells. The possible explanatio is that the collagen can be trace of the researchers' skin who carry the bones, because the humans's skin has a collogen.
