We live better?

It is widely known there have been changes in our quality life. But sometimes people can ask if these changes are enough relevant to consider it we live better today than many years ago.

First of all, the health system has improved respect to the past. For example, the diseases which caused the death a lot of people have a treatment nowadays. Moreover, the technological advances in medicine have helped to detect diseases earlier.

Secondly, the new technologies have played an essential role in the world entertainment. For instance, you can listen to music or the radio news wherever you are on a device. Besides, there are many ways of watching global events such as Super Bowl or the Oscars online.

Apart from the previous points, advances have appeared in a matter of Human Rights. A specific group of people has been discriminated by reason of sex, age, race or any other personal characteristic. As a result, the legislators have created laws which protect them.

To sum up, our life has improved considerably. The new technologies have to lead to huge improvements in terms of medicine and access to information. Also, it is pursuing the discrimination. That is why I agree on we live better currently.
