Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) October 31, 2013

As they prepare to launch the highly anticipated hosted version of Help Desk Premier, the software’s creators, BrightBox Solutions, are pleased to announce educational institutions will be able to utilize the application free of charge for one year. Optionally, educational institutions may once again acquire the in-house version of Help Desk Premier at no cost on a perpetual basis.

As for the hosted version, if the schools wish to continue using Help Desk Premier after their first year, they can either migrate to an on-premise version at no cost, or Help Desk Premier will continue hosting them, at a discount of 50 percent. BrightBox Solutions will migrate their hosted version to on-premise, should they elect this option, at no cost. For educational institutions who take advantage of either offer, they will be receiving the “Enterprise” version of the application, which means there are no restrictions in terms of the number of allowed users, or feature availability.

With Help Desk Premier, educational institutions, regardless of size, are able to provide a higher level of service to their students and faculty, along with a reduction in administration costs. Many educational institutions are constrained by understaffing and budgetary concerns, but this opportunity from Help Desk Premier allows them to maintain an unprecedented level of service, even in a tight fiscal environment.

“We admire what educational institutions provide, and we wanted to offer them something in return by allowing them to take advantage of all that Help Desk Premier has to offer without stretching their already thin budgets,” said Joseph Davoren, President of BrightBox Solutions. “We have made the offer for our on-premise software in the past, and now, as we launch the cloud version, we would like to extend the same opportunity. Whether you’re a small school, or a large university, Help Desk Premier can be customized to meet your institution’s needs, and you’re not limited or restricted in any way with this offer.”

Help Desk Premier recently received an angel investment of $500,000, which has been used for development and testing of this SaaS version of their help desk software. Included in the development process was a move to the cloud, which was a decision the software’s creators made in large part due to customer feedback.

The cloud version of Help Desk Premier, set to be released in the coming weeks, offers the utmost in functionality, and is rich with features, but unlike other help desk programs, it’s much more user-friendly and offers a more streamlined interface. This computer support software has garnered tremendous recognition because of its ability to make the process of troubleshooting customer problems effortless, while it remains scalable and highly customizable to the needs of each unique business or organization. Help Desk Premier is one of the few issue tracking software programs that allows for simplicity, without sacrificing functionality.

Interested institutions can request their license by submitting their information on the educational license request form on the BrightBox Solutions website. The company will notify qualifying schools with the anticipated implementation schedule for the program.
