Some people like to use smartphone or other navigational devices to guide their road while traveling; some prefer to ask around. Which do you prefer and why?
In my opinion, it really depends on the situation, for example if your visiting abroad, you might not have Internet data to use the navigational features on your smartphone and so you're better off asking around for directions, unless you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. Nevertheless, I prefer to ask around if I'm lost or if I want to visit something, this way I can practice my language skills, and it's also a good opportunity to discover the local people.
