Most of the time, learning process involves both positive and negative actions/results for the learner’s part. For the teacher’s part, it is very important to determine when to praise some actions and when to ignore some actions. The ratio or praising and ignoring actions can be crucial for successful teaching. Though praising positive actions and ignoring negative ones might not be the best way, it is certainly a very good and effective way of teaching but with one reservation: a bit of criticism is required for the negative actions.
